Casalini Libri is pleased to announce the forthcoming launch of new periodicals by the prestigious publisher and distributor of journals and monographic series Fabrizio Serra Editore of Pisa and Rome. The new titles, planned in a range of disciplines including archaeology, classical philology, Italian studies, philosophy and the history of music, will be made available between 2007 and 2009. These works are of particular importance since they are the result of collaboration between experts, academics and scientific committees, from all over the world, who are at the forefront of their relative fields. In order to reflect the truly international scale of the project, English has been chosen as the official language of a number of the titles, with many other works comprising articles in Italian, English, French, German and Spanish.

Journal will be issued annually and deals with literature in dialect in the strictest sense (usually dated from the 1500s on) but it will also take into account of that function-dialect that has been recognized to exist from the very beginning (the inscription of San Clemente, Bonvesin, Cronica by the Anonymous Roman, etc.). The horizon will also be extensive in a linguistic sense: in addition to ‘pure’ dialect literature, we will explore the dialect in macaronic or expressivist cocktails (Folengo, Gadda, Meneghello) and dialectic tendencies within the langua-ge (Verga, Pavese), to the various forms of pastiche.

Annual, directed by Ivan Garofalo. The growing interest in the philology of medical texts is attested by the great number of international colloquia and books of the last thirty years. Studies on the manuscript tradition, presentation of unknown texts, new critical editions and commentaries testify the vitality of this field of research that marks evident progresses. Therefore a journal offering partial or complete results of the forthcoming research seems useful and precious for antiquity studies. Yearly, it gathers philological contributions on text and tradition of Greek medicine, ancient and Byzantine, transmitted in Greek, Latin and oriental languages (Syriac, Arabic, Hebrew…). Beside the more substantial essays, the journal includes short notes by young scholars who have newly started their philological activity. All numbers of «Galenos» contains a choice of conjectures from AFMA (Archivio Filologico per la Medicina Antica: http://www.afma-medicinaantica.it). The journal is open to contributions in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish.

The three journals aim to address in a coordinated manner the problems of psychoanalysis in the clinical («Psicoanalisi corporea»), political and juridical («Psicoanalisi forense») and religious («Psicoanalisi religiosa») fields, having at disposition the theory and clinical experience of Germano Bellussi, scientific editor of all three publications. «Psicoanalisi religiosa» explores the phenomenon of religiosity in all its complexity and multiplicity, focusing on the real life of modern-day individuals who seek to deal with their disquieting need for the divine within. This qualitative leap (and thus the radical separation between the human and the divine) will be a subject for reflection; other topics are the nature of sin (as an element characterizing human singularity), methods for salvation (as seen in the history of groups and the intimacy of single individuals), and the characteristics that a path of initiation can assume. There is special reference to articles of the existential school and those of the theology of crisis.
